Fun gameplay ! I used joy2key to map R and O to L1 and R1, also P and Q to Circle and Cross on my ps4 pad and the gamefeel was really nice !

Good job, had a good time making this. Also the sound design is perfect.
100% agree, also prohibiting things may sometime make them more appealing to people (like weed for example, the illegality of it in some states make the kids want to try it more just to be punk and cool) People need to be informed like you said, not forced to not do things because someone said "This = BAD".
Damn Not Jam! Incredible yet simple game (and the whole Itch.io page really looks cool). I 100% agree with the whole text and particularly this point : "[...]by just visiting less well-known (and frequently much sketchier) sites".
This is one of the most frightening thing about it and the argument I bring when talking about this subject. Good luck on your gamedev journey and I hope you will not get in trouble for this strong message.
Thanks a lot for your feedbacks ! Glad you loved this, I spent a lot of time making it so we can feel the speed, I'm really glad it turned out that well !
At first the boost was supposed to only make the wheels accelerate but I had to make it Rochet league style ahah I wanted more air control.
Loved your game too, thanks again for you comment <3
Thanks a lot ! We're currently working on a post-jam version with an artist friend of mine. It will have characters and tricks to do in the air (it was originally supposed to be in this version but I got caught up by time). Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the Tony Hawk comparison, that was the vibe we were looking for : Tony Hawk with a SoapBox car :D
Really fun twist on the Snake concept ! The sound effects and music are simple but really really adds something to the game, the movement sound really make it clear that you moved and the Win and Lose music are really cool and blend nicely with the ambiant one !
It kind of makes me think of this Crash Bandicoot ost
Nice job !
Too bad you couldn't finish it because you had to "get back to woooork" (see what I did there ?)
Really digging the art style, I see more and more 2D sprited FPS those days and I can't get enough !
The smear effect on the scissors might be a bit too smeary IMO it should have some more frames maybe ?
Really nice what you managed to do while having to work and I hope you can get more time for developping games, have a nice day :)
Thank you for your feedbacks ! Can you give me informations on what web browser, what operating system you are using and if possible the best looking game you can run on your setting (for example red dead redemption 2 or something big like that).
Also, there is a downloadable version so if you could try this one out (if you are one Windows only unfortunately) and tell me if the audio still lags ?
Another person had problem with a MAC in the comments section.
Glad you liked it and LONG LIVE GODOT <3
Thank you so much for that really precise feedback !
I agree with everything you wrote and it was already planned to do all that for the post jam version !
There are going to be characters inside the car in that version and tricks you can do when in the air :)
Thanks again for playing and taking the time to give suggestions, I really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot, I really spent most of the time getting the speed effect feel good so I'm really glad it showed up :D
We are doing a post-jam version with an artist friend of mine, we are definitly going to add a speed counter ! I didn't thought about a breaking barrier sound effect and that does sound really cool ! Going to talk about it with my friend, thanks for the suggestion :)
