“Echo” left a very strong impression on me.
The story I got on my route turned out dark, emotional, filled with psychological tension and the gradual mental breakdown of the main character. The TJ route especially hit me the hardest: their connection, the tension, Chase’s obsession with TJ, the mental issues - all of it is portrayed harshly and honestly. That’s exactly why I don’t even want to play the other routes; for me, “Echo” is this specific story I experienced.

The novel isn’t perfect. Sometimes it feels like certain themes could’ve been pushed further, and the visual side suffers from the fact that different artists worked on it — the character designs occasionally shift and break immersion. But if you look past that, the overall atmosphere and artwork are still stylish and memorable.

In the end, “Echo” is a work that stands not on visuals, but on emotion, psychology, and character writing. And in that regard, it succeeds brilliantly.

The atmosphere is the true highlight here. While the artwork might seem simple, the author's brilliant sense of style more than compensates. The stunning lighting, visual effects, and especially the fantastic menu music create a uniquely eerie and mysterious vibe that lasts from start to finish.

The characters are incredibly charismatic and feel alive. It's a pure joy to watch their interactions.
