That's odd, while a lot of people found the game challenging, most of my friends and all of those who were programmers were able to pass the levels pretty easily without assistance.

As for how you completed Level #2: The NOT is what the ANTI-conditional is for and the Lesser and Greater ports for the Greater operation are just like the conditionals where if the Lesser and Greater ports properly correspond it'd be true. I don't believe putting the ports down as A & B would make it more intuitive. However, I do acknowledge that the operations in general can be unintuitive, that's what I was planning the tutorial story for, although I ran out of time at the end due to some unexpected stuff I had to take care of over the jam period. If you played around with the operations I think you likely would've found that, but it's a game jam so I understand that time-per-game is often limited.

Thanks for playing the game though :D

Agreed, originally I was planning on adding values when you hovered, a better tutorial and things like that, but I ended up having to attend to other stuff over the game jam period. Being able to see the tank and control board at the same time would also be great.

Also, thanks for the compliment and for enjoying the game :D

If the game gets enough positive ratings and ranks high enough on the game jam to where I feel there's enough interest though I'll continue working on the idea including improving the tutorial.

Loved the game's implementation of looping by revisiting the scene of death.

Plane go brrrrrr

Great art style, but not exactly my cup of tea gameplay wise.

Agreed, I really wish I had more time to flesh out the tutorial, but I'm glad you enjoyed :D

The idea was that without a tutorial, you could explore on your own, but I understand how that can be difficult especially without a visual on the different values of each input and output. Temporarily, I can answer for now. All values are integers (no decimals or negative numbers) with 10 digits that'll loop over. Rotation is in degrees with 0 degrees being facing right. Turret rotation is local. Coordinates start from the top left which is (0, 0) using traditional coordinate systems often used in graphics and warfare, and for Player-enemy angle bigger than zero can be either to the left or right, bigger than 180 is to the right, and if you don't want to implement more complex logic you can do player locking rotation onto the enemy by hooking up Player-enemy angle to Left or Right rotation.

Also, thanks for noticing the art style. I made sure to give each character a different art style within chibi and planned on pairing it with the music they would've enjoyed, but sadly I didn't have enough dialogue or time for that lol

While I admit that the tutorial isn't 100% fleshed out since I had to attend to other stuff over the game jam period, it was explained why the tank keeps on shooting bullets. The ENIAC runs on a loop where the inputs repeatedly fire.

Personally, I really liked the simplistic graphics (games oftentimes don't get enough credit for not having complex graphics depending on the gameplay), however, I do wish that there were more levels and you were able to do more than just move in different directions. I'm not sure what this has to do with looping, but I'm going to assume that it has to do with the looping of the bullet hell and being stuck in it.

Either way, I enjoyed the game :D

Great game. The conveyer speed seems pretty inconsequential for the cost, and I would've preferred if it were made more clear that the +% wasn't a +%, but + some static decimal. Besides that, a fun game, although not something I'd play beyond the first few playthroughts in its current state. I'd love to see an expansion of this with more unique abilities that while relying on each other, similar to Balatro (keep going back to this lmao) are capable of expanding exponentially.

Thanks :D

I did :D
Thanks for noticing, I don't usually do chibi, but I got some references and even made them different styles for their personalities (I was originally planning to pair the music of their era to it too, but there wasn't enough dialogue or time for that.)
Thanks for enjoying the game :D

Agreed, originally I was interested in developing a better tutorial and more compact system that was still somewhat "static" similar to the actual ENIAC, but I didn't have time since I had  to attend to some other things I wasn't expect so 😅
Glad you enjoyed the game tho :D

Graphics and controls were a bit janky, but the gameplay was great. If it were just expanded a bit I'd love playing it as a game. I keep on saying this when rating games during the jam, but: this reminds me a bit of Balatro. A Boss Blinds like system of resistances and greater obstacles like in Balatro would be nice as well.
