Thank you! We were just working on UI when we ran out of time, we were close to fixing it!

Thanks for the feedback. I initially thought people would find a Hollow-Knight-style control scheme intuitive. I suppose I made a bad call there. WASD, space and mouse to attack would probably have been a better choice in hindsight.
My main concern with this was the potential of people unfocusing the application when clicking with the mouse, but screen shake solves that
I liked the Cuphead-style action here, and it is nice to see another game with action-platformer-style fighting. I found the game rather difficult. If you make any updates to the game, consider making it easier at the start and gradually get more difficult. The friendly art-style was also rather neat.
The menus and art all look like they are from a complete game. I liked how you can look back round from the left of the screen to the right, that was a neat way to ensure no point was ever more than 2 moves away. If you make a post-jam update, consider adding screen shake. I think it could make the game feel a lot more satisfying.
Just as I got the hang of it, the game started throwing curveballs at me! I really liked how the game starts out simple but keeps adding twists to keep you engaged. The sound design was solid, and the menu was polished. Unfortunately, the leaderboard did not work for me, so I'll just put the score here
I liked this game a lot. There were a lot of good ideas, for example, having to time hitting "Enter" after typing each word. The concept of typing specific words to start and restart the game was also really fun.
I was also really impressed by the fact that the game told you exactly what I did wrong when I messed up. For example, it told me when the word was wrong and when I had hit an invalid character. That made the game feel very responsive, so great job on that!
I rather like turn-based strategy games; I'm glad someone managed to figure out how to turn soccer into a strategy game. The concept here was nice, and there were an impressive number of mechanics for a 72 hour project. It would have been nice to see a bit more polish though, I would have appreciated some sound effects.
The characters looked cool, it was nice to see a host of unique characters!
There were tons of original mechanics here, from the rope physics to the roulette of death. It was fun to play. My only frustration is that I could not predict which arrow inputs would register and which would be ignored (for example, if you press left arrow twice in a row). I got 10 points in my best run. Great work!
