Thank you! We were just working on UI when we ran out of time, we were close to fixing it!

Thanks for the feedback. I initially thought people would find a Hollow-Knight-style control scheme intuitive. I suppose I made a bad call there. WASD, space and mouse to attack would probably have been a better choice in hindsight.

My main concern with this was the potential of people unfocusing the application when clicking with the mouse, but screen shake solves that

Thank you. I was fairly sad to discover that bug, I'll have to fix it post-jam

Thank you for the feedback, we unfortunately didn't have time to make the menus look nice

The gameplay is fun, and the little hops the chicken makes give it character. Missed opportunity to call the game Jerk Chicken :)

Thanks! Oddly enough, there is a split in the players. Some use the dive skill a whole lot, others stay well away from it. I personally thought it was overpowered, but I guess there are different fighting styles

The art is great, and I rather liked the concept of the forest spirit and the flaming football. I would have appreciated some kind of indicator of the direction you are about to kick the football in; it is otherwise difficult to predict. Great job overall

It was fun, even if it was a little difficult to control the character at times. The idea of launching the character after the ball and aiming by timing were nice

It was fun to get the ball past the seal, and I liked the concept of ice football. I didn't figure out what the upgrades did, though

riSygneD already did, scoring 267

Thank you! How far did you get?

Thank you!

We actually had a WASD control scheme alternative, but we removed it later in development because it felt unwieldy to use, and went with a "Hollow Knight" style of controls

Thanks for the feedback. We went for arrow keys because it otherwise made kicking awkward. If it helps, you can also use up arrow to jump and down arrow to stomp

No worries! I think there are more broken leaderboards than working ones this jam

The game-feel here is awesome. Every part of this is well-made

I liked the Cuphead-style action here, and it is nice to see another game with action-platformer-style fighting. I found the game rather difficult. If you make any updates to the game, consider making it easier at the start and gradually get more difficult. The friendly art-style was also rather neat.

My high score:

The menus and art all look like they are from a complete game. I liked how you can look back round from the left of the screen to the right, that was a neat way to ensure no point was ever more than 2 moves away. If you make a post-jam update, consider adding screen shake. I think it could make the game feel a lot more satisfying.

The art is really cool, the music matches it rather well, and the whistles tie the theme together. However, I struggled to see when I was supposed to press the directional keys, so I didn't get very far unfortunately

The dinos look cool, it's a shame you didn't manage to upload the game

Just as I got the hang of it, the game started throwing curveballs at me! I really liked how the game starts out simple but keeps adding twists to keep you engaged. The sound design was solid, and the menu was polished. Unfortunately, the leaderboard did not work for me, so I'll just put the score here

I liked this game a lot. There were a lot of good ideas, for example, having to time hitting "Enter" after typing each word. The concept of typing specific words to start and restart the game was also really fun.

I was also really impressed by the fact that the game told you exactly what I did wrong when I messed up. For example, it told me when the word was wrong and when I had hit an invalid character. That made the game feel very responsive, so great job on that!

I really liked the concept of a hitman "accidentally" missing the goal. Also, the art looked nice and friendly. The timer was too fast for me, though!

I rather like turn-based strategy games; I'm glad someone managed to figure out how to turn soccer into a strategy game. The concept here was nice, and there were an impressive number of mechanics for a 72 hour project. It would have been nice to see a bit more polish though, I would have appreciated some sound effects.

The characters looked cool, it was nice to see a host of unique characters!

I scored 18. The screen shake and the crowd cheer were satisfying. It would have been even more satisfying if I could see myself gain score throughout the game.

This was fun, but it would have been nice if there were ways you could get more than 32 points. For example, getting a higher score if you click closer to the middle of the timing window. Otherwise, I thought it was a nice casual game

This was awesome! The art style and music were on point, and the game feel was there. Also, the limited number of kicks made each one feel important, knowing I only have 9 to reach greatness, I really liked that idea.

The game was very simple, but also very relaxing, just keeping the ball on the character's head. It was actually a lot of fun!

I really liked the concept for the game, and the art style was lovely

Thank you! I never got stuck at the corner of the island myself. I'll consider the side-of-the-map issue if I make a post-jam version

I understand, I didn't initially realise that each shot was a gamble

That's fair enough, there were a lot of mini games and only 2 days

I liked the clean art style and music, it was a bit of a shame the story ended so quickly

I really liked the concept of being this tiny rat trying to operate the machines not designed for it. It was fun, but I did struggle with the camera, the mouse sensitivity seemed to be too high for me

I liked the art, and the concept of needing to shoot enemies and then collect them was quite interesting. I got to 151 points

This game is awesome, how did you come up with the idea? I wish it had sound, though. I ended up playing for a while and getting over 1.5k

The cutscenes were awesome, it would have been nice if there were multiple rounds of Pac-Man and blackjack

There were tons of original mechanics here, from the rope physics to the roulette of death. It was fun to play. My only frustration is that I could not predict which arrow inputs would register and which would be ignored (for example, if you press left arrow twice in a row). I got 10 points in my best run. Great work!
