I've been working for 2 weeks on a remake of my 2019 single The Cat, a tribute to Sean Hodges aka Cheshyre
It is a mix of references to the Madness Combat osts as well as a touch of my personal style

I'm what you would define a self taught musician, I never had the ability to fully learn and understand music theory especially when it comes to electronic music, I still struggle with stuff like mixing and mastering to this day.
The only thing I always cared about was making music, whether it was playing the guitar or sitting my ass in front of the computer and put notes on the piano roll, hoping that my creativity would surpass my lack of quality production in the ears of my listeners.
Now, when I uploaded Mechanical Layer on this website and used the md2024 tag I expected to just forget about the whole thing and to not see my name even at the bottom of the list.
But for some reason that didn't happen, just like it didn't happen last year when I got third place in the competition.
The reason I'm making this post is because I'm an emotional dumbass with imposter syndrome, and comments from people saying that the contest was rigged came to my attention.
Look, if you don't like my music, if you have any criticism to give me just give it to me, help me grow as a musician, this is all I have, all I care about in my life at the moment is making music.
I can't remember the last time I ever got first place at anything, my heart was racing this morning when I got the news, I was so happy, so please, don't try to take this away from me with false accusations.
