Nate's first update for his act three is out on patreon, and will likely release soon on itch.

things have been pretty tough for everyone lately what with the whole brief itch.io scare among several other things, but the game is still very much alive

but that isn't even true considering chapter fourteen on here would be incomplete by his standards because on patreon while he has released alphas and betas for future chapters he's still also working on content like artwork for chapter fourteen

not particularly shocking

i guess all that's been released this year was the CG for the sex scene which was put into the game nearly three years ago now (almost one year now with the last public build)

there are nsfw scenes they're just disabled by default and currenty lack artwork, you have to go to settings/preferences to enable them.

if you're on mobile they will say "this setting cannot be changed" but if you tap on said text it will re enable the nsfw content

the newest update is now out on patreon, which finishes up his act three, I assume it comes out on the fifteenth this month

i shall not say anything specifically but this update may have very well been their hottest, most emotional, grandest update yet

this was quite literally me upon finishing it 

Carlos easily skyrocketed up to best of the main three, and might be decent competition for Russell for me

I hope that whether you choose to sub to get it early or wait until it's out within the next couple weeks (i assume anyway), that you all enjoy it as much as I do

No, the dev team said Kouya is up next, and then either Shun or Soutarou after him

Tap on the "These settings cannot be disabled" or whatever it says under censorship settings

The screen will flash and take you back to the title menu and nsfw contents will be enabled

The routes have nsfw but the CGs are not in the game yet, however starting next update they will begin putting them in the game

Kouya's route is indeed up next

It's possible that you triggered more events that related to Tora in that instance rather than Shun

Shun's route is not finished at the moment.

Right now the finished routes in the game are Juuichi, Tatsuki, Shin, Kounosuke and now Kyouji

Up next is Kouya but Shun is coming eventually

it's because the others that would remain (Kouya and Shun) already have a base to work with and it'd be better to end things on a bang

For the neutral route it combines the three routes the best it can and since Carlos and Nate's act threes are not finished it can't take anything from those yet, so it only goes to act two at the moment

From what I can see Carlos would be the bottom, Bryan's the switch and Nate's the top

I really do suggest trying out Nate's stuff because the entire theme of the game is the masks people put up and his was seemingly so effective it made people not want anything to do with him which I get but his content honestly shines a lot for the theme and might show it the best

it would be extremely hilarious and as someone who's played Nate's content it's unironically extremely likely he's the sole character who's an exclusive top 

the real twist would be there is an exclusive top but you refuse to play his route 

jk but you never know....

you can go to the preferences menu and press the password section and it will give you a password to type that unlocks all chapters in the game

The bit with the religious beliefs is the one instance that changes anything and all it affects is getting Carlos' wet dream scene

You choose a route at the cabin class trip at the end of the first act

i think it was a remnant of the affection points system

An android version probably wouldn't be possible unless Dragon Island itself gets an android port but that's probably never gonna happen

They do know but they can't say much because it would spoil a lot about the inner workings of the game

They're all getting something but as for what it will be no one is sure

if you're on PC you don't need to worry, just be sure to not delete the old version of the game until you install the new one

as for Android it's a more complicated process

the vote is going on until December although considering it's likely the both of them are getting something of some kind it doesn't matter much at all

You unlock passwords as you go through the routes I believe

When you finish a route you get access to its guide in the gallery

I can't believe it but that Kounosuke route made him shoot up to the top spot in my ranking. You guys made him so much more relatable and the end parts of his route has me bawling like a baby.

I'm happy that despite everything this game is still alive, it brings me so much joy to play it.

It just means their personal story is over, they'll still have a presence in act four but I assume all it means is that act four will mainly be starting to focus on the plot elements that have been building up in the background like whatever Zach has been up to and the killer

The game has a text to speech feature in it and you can indeed play the game with a controller

heavy spoilers below 

the scene where Ben reconciles with his ex and where it's revealed that it was actually he who ended things by ghosting him as well as the sequence where he comes to terms with the fact that it turns out he was the one sending emails to himself from his sisters account gave me very heavy silent hill 2 vibes. legitimately such a beautiful scene and much like the scene in silent hill 2 that reveals why James is there at all these events change a lot about the narrative like how Ben saw those eyes every time he did something with another guy because he was feeling massive guilt for just ending things by ghosting his ex like that and it was HIS consciousness and not his ex specifically staring at him knowing how shitty it was of him to do, and how him sending emails from his sister's email also changes some things too. here's hoping Ben improves from here on out, it speaks levels that even after learning he did such horrid things to his ex and his sister I can still sympathetize with him a good deal
