Sparky turned out to be a very charming game that reminded me of something old-school Treasure would have made, which is great praise for how well the overall experience turned out to be. The campaign was enjoyable and I liked the banter the first time around in encounters, though the game really could have used a skip cutscene option for repeats instead of pressing B to skip every single section of dialog. The difficulty felt fair to me outside of maybe two or three check points that felt like they existed more for the fact the area wasn't really balanced well more than really needing to be in the game.

Overall, it's good in presentation as far as visuals and sound goes and good for a playthrough or two at least. It played well on my Steam Deck without any hiccups, which is great for this kind of run and gun game.
