I'm excited to announce the plans I have in store for Intravenous 2 for 2025!

Starting today, you can wishlist the DLC page to be among the first to experience it when it launches on March 3rd.

The goal of this DLC is to revisit the Intravenous 1 campaign and improve it in all aspects: update the levels & soundtrack, adapt the gameplay to the game design of Intravenous 2, incorporate new gadgets and the weapon modification system.

New players will be able to explore the series' legacy with updated gameplay, while those already familiar with the original game can relive the experience with new features, redesigned levels, and new weapons.

Additionally, the release of update 1.2, which adds the Map Editor & Steam Workshop support, new weapons, and further improves the game in various aspects is currently in a public BETA (to try it out, simply opt into the "mapeditor" BETA!), and is planned for February.

So, at the start of next year, you can expect two major content updates:

1. February - Free 1.2 Update: Steam Workshop, Level Editor, UMP, MAC-10, FAMAS G2 and more
   
2. March 3rd - Intravenous 1 Campaign Remaster DLC

Finally, I can say: Intravenous 2 is now out!

From those who supported me back at the release of the Intravenous to those who simply added the game to their wishlists during Steam Next Fest – I'm grateful for all the support you've given me throughout the development journey.

Your feedback, bug reports, opinions, and reviews over the course of the first game, the playtest, the "Mercenarism" prologue, and the Next Fest demo have helped shape Intravenous 2 into what it is today. I'm confident that if you liked the first game, then you will love what the second game has on offerand brings you a bit of that video game magic - the kind I grew up with and tried to replicate, as I look back on the games I used to play back in the 90s and early 2000s.

Very soon, I'll be back with news about the game's future support and our upcoming plans.
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts and, of course, your bug reports. (though hopefully in small quantities)

Hey folks!

This small patch fixes a couple of issues, and updates LuaJIT to version 2.1 (whereas previously version 2.0.5 was used) for better game performance.

- fixed a crash that occurred when changing the camera zoom level in the options menu, when not actively playing a level
- fixed a crash that occurs on some Windows 11 configurations
- updated LuaJIT to latest 2.1 github version - an improvement of 15-30% can be observed! (your mileage may vary)

I’m finally ready to announce the release date for Intravenous 2!
Soon, players of the first game, the prologue, and the demo will be able to experience the continuation of the story:

Enter the world of Intravenous 2 as Sean and Steve - an unlikely duo with a common mission: to save a life while taking down those responsible for Sean's predicament. Your choices define your path in this world of old-school stealth, hardcore tactical gunplay, and dynamic storytelling.

Hello, long time no see!

For the past couple of months, we've been working on our new build with new mechanics and crafting new levels.

Very soon, you'll be able to check our progress during Steam Next Fest. In our new demo, you'll get to try out new weapons, new levels, and see general progress!

Starting June 10th, the demo will be available to everyone!

This patch optimizes the game some more, introduces a new weapon, and improves ultrawide monitor support, such as 21:9 and 28:9.

The new weapon - Remington Model 700 - is a bolt-action rifle. It has a five round magazine, is slow to fire, and ammo for it is very difficult to find, however that is made up by it's near-perfect accuracy, high damage output, and low weight - it won't slow you down nearly as much as various other magazine-fed rifles.
On the 'True' game difficulty, you can expect it to one-shot enemies with no problems.

- added R700:
- bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62x51MM, with 5 rounds in the magazine, and low weight
- what it lacks in magazine capacity, it makes up in it's near-perfect accuracy, and a mean punch

- improved ultrawide monitor support
- optimized lighting on the CPU side, which boosts performance by up to 25% (your mileage may vary!)
- fixed a crash that occured when using the medkit on a difficulty that had instant death enabled or health regen disabled
