It's no longer Win7 compatible since they recently updated the engine.

I had requested that the devs upload the last older engine version to a beta branch but so far it hasn't happened :-/

I saw that Vahid managed to play and give a review so I didn't reply here, but yeah unfortunately it doesn't support older versions of Windows. I updated the minimum requirements on the page but sadly that's very easy to miss as well

Yeah, we had updated all the way back in August of last year so its been very hard to find a reasonable way of backporting it. I'm going to keep trying to see if there's a good way of doing it, but I wouldn't count on it or expect it :/

A bit of an update here....so I managed to get it running again on Win 7 by using DepotDownloader ( https://github.com/SteamRE/DepotDownloader ) to grab the last working update from June 7, 2024. The manifest# is 1207404680305938956 ( https://steamdb.info/depot/2479321/manifests/ )

If you'd rather use the Steam Client itself to grab it, then just enable the Steam Console ( steam://open/console ) and enter the following command...


At least I can still play it again from where I left off last time : ] And I'll keep this package zipped outside the Steam folder in case I need to overwrite the files again on any future update(s).

Anyhow, just a workaround in case other Win 7 users are interested
