Ongoing Progression Balance changes is a hard thing to do and will continue with feedback.

Please give those changes a chance, if things don't work out we can always change them!

• Increased the chance for fish, more fish less rubbish.

• Enhanced Farm Tile will no longer give normal crops, base is silver.

• Changed the advancement upgrade requirement from 5 to 3 for Coop, Barn, Upgrade 1.

  (Developer Note: Made this change to incentives breeding animals early game.)

• Reduced the Leek Corn Advancement requirement for Radish and Watermelon.

• Reduced the Threshold before Ranchers stop bringing food to Coops/Barns from 250 to 125(Should give them more time in collecting items).

• Readjusted Crops Position in the Crafting Menu, to fit the new advancements.

• Added a fail safe for Merchant and Royal/King Envoys to always arrive at their Outposts.

  (Developer Note: The reason they don't is because most likely the Outposts are not connected to all bridges via roads.)

• Foresters Rework

  1. They will no longer plant/gather Fruit Trees.

     (Developer Note: Made this decision so it more aligns with Miners, where they only focus on the Wood.)

     Removed the Forestry Tile from Advancement/Crafting.

     (Developer Note: You can remove Forestry Tiles by replacing it with other tiles.)

• Fruit Trees Rework

  1. Fruit Trees can be planted on Grass/Sand as a player activity, like Fishing.

     (Developer Note: Can still be stored in warehouses for Carriers to take to Markets.)

  2. With this change comes the ability to also just plant it on a single tile, instead of taking 4 tiles.

  3. Moved Apples to First Part of the Map, Moved Cherry to Second Part of the Map, Moved Pear to 3rd Part of the Map, and Peach is on the Final Part of the Map.

     (Developer Note:

     1. Those changes only affect new saves

     2. Moving Apples on the First Part of the Map, will give you a secure way to make silver early on.)

Animal Hunger & Unhappy

• Fixed an issue where animals kept feeding themselves even if they were already fed.

  The Animals will also let you know if they are unhappy, like not enough room given or hungry.

Firing workers tooltip mishap

• Removed the Tooltip section of "Fire for x Copper" when Removing Workers from Houses.

• You regain your Hire Cost back When you Remove a Worker(This was the Intended Tooltip Info).

Crops Progression Rebalanced

• Readjusted Prices for Planting/Selling.

• Replanting Costs for Farmers is 30% less then the Player.

• Crops unlocks are tied to the Map Expansion.

Removed the Ores Deposits

• Replaced the Ores with Stones to match the Trees Deposits.

• Removed the Silver spot completely, more space for farming.

Blacksmith Rework

• Blacksmith will now have Buffs with Copper Upkeep.

• Up to 6 and can be stacked like Inn/Temple.

• Added Achievements for Upgrading Blacksmith.

Removed Negative Coins & Achievements.

• If Copper Upkeep is unpaid for the day the workers will stop working and go home, until next day.

• If you don't have Copper Coins for Farmers to replant with, they will just wander around.

• If Silver Upkeep is unpaid your Inn Buffs will deactivate one by one each day.

• If Gold Upkeep is unpaid your Temple Buffs will deactivate one by one each day.

• Added Happy/Unhappy Upkeep Indicator.

Fixed an issue that would cause Workers to not work properly if you removed their target buildings, at the perfect time.

Fixed an issue where when adding tiles sometimes it wouldn't update the surrounding tiles properly.

Made it so nests for coops and barns don't spawn in front of the entrance tile.

Added a Character Unstuck button to the Pause Menu.

Fixed an issue that would cause Gatherers to not work properly after removing Warehouses.

Made it so the Advancements that were hidden before are shown as "Grey ?".
( Developer Note: The feedback I got was that some people were confused and though there were only a few advancements to unlock. )

Added new key binds.

• You can now HOLD SHIFT to only plant instead of when holding Left click you Plant and Water.

• You can now HOLD SHIFT to Buy/Add Items in Buildings/Vendors.

• You can now press H to Hide/Show the UI.

First I would like to apologize how long it took to get the update out.

I have been refactoring the game from the ground up to be able to facilitate bigger farm space and new features.

Demo has been updated to Update 4, progression carries over too.

If you wish to continue playing just v3 you can do so by accessing the v3-old by going to your Library → right-click the game → Properties → Betas → v3-old.

Hey everyone,

I’ve opened the Public Beta Client for Update 4!

You can access the beta by going to your Library → right-click the game → Properties → Betas → Public Beta.

I’d really appreciate anyone who’s willing to help playtest the update so we can make it the best it can be together.

A couple of things to note:

• Please keep the language set to English, as localization for Update 4 isn’t finished yet.

• The game has been reworked from the ground up to support the new world size, so please expect bugs and performance issues.

• Update 3 Saves and Update 4 Saves are not compatible.

• May cause issues with current Update 3 when switching back.

You’re welcome to discuss the update on the Steam Forums or on Discord, whichever you prefer. I’ll be keeping an eye on both.
