4 is on discount for 3 bucks on GOG. Anything new on 5 or is it just worth getting 4?

For me, SS4 with all the DLC's is much better, by far than SS5. One quick point, the unit detail in SS4 is amazing compared to SS5.

If you are new to such kind of games: SS4, after that SS5. SS5 is HARD in the beginning.

Evil stick has Sudden Strike 5

SS 4 is easier. SS 5 is closer to the oldschool Sudden Strike experience. It is a little bit harder. But the campaigns are still amazing. SS4 and SS5 have both amazing campaigns.

No, sorry, I meant regarding the unit detail. (I have all SS4 + DLC).

Are units less detailed in SS5?

Call to Arms is a different scope. IF you want to make an comparsion, you have to compare it to the Blitzkrieg-Series. Call to Arms in general is LESS but more detailled united. Sudden Strike is MORE units, but less micro and details.
