Each faction is completely different to the other. Beautiful art and music. A little bit hard because it is too different if you compare it to Civilization, but I like it because it feels unique.

100% recommended.

Game looked really interested and a change of pace from Civ.

However, I am returning the game for a refund.

Game crashes on launch every time.

It does seem to launch ok on my MacBook Pro M3 Max, if I unplug my monitor. However, I have the monitor exactly to play games on -- not the actual laptop scrren.

From reading thru posts on Steam forums, reddit, and games2gether, this has been an identified problem for a long time, just not fixed.

A 4X game of real personality.

A veteran of many hundreds of hours spent playing various versions of Civ, at first I found it a tougher transition to this game than I was expecting. But the heroes and the questline bring an interest of individual units that is largely missing in Civ. And compared to Civ the various races are much more distinct in their character. It doesn't have quite the epic feel of Civ, but these days I find myself enjoying Endless Legend more. Highly recommended!

I don't know it's been years, but I played a lot and bought the second game. Played it a lot during covid. So you KNOW it's good!

RTS's need some type of flair, story, or something to keep me engaged and this one I thought the story and city building could do it but it ended up being to much repetition.
