I don't know what you're talking about...
When I got the chance to get a Quest 2 for $200, I jumped at it and ended up selling off the WMR headset as the Quest 2 beat it out overall (though not by as much as I would have expected), and the Quest 2 had the advantage of being portable as well.
theBlu from WMR would NOT run on the Quest 2, but as soon as it went on-sale here on Steam I grabbed it as the whale scenario is the single best demo tool for people new to VR!
So using the same hardware as the Odyssey+ (HP Z230 w/ i7-4770 & PNY 1060 card), the Quest 2 runs theBlu without a hitch and I actually have full controller support and the flashlight now works in the deep sea scenario.
I'd like to see this as a stand alone app for the Quest 2 so I can show it to people without needing the computer, as it's quick, easy and visually impressive for those new to VR.
But I can verify that it runs great on the Quest 2 via USB3 (haven't tried it wirelessly yet) and that it works well with the PNY 1060 graphics card.
If you are having problems, you might try enabling SteamVR beta. Would like to hear back if this works...
The other thing was I changed SteamVR to use the Oculus mode with the Quest rather than OpenVR as I had with the Odyssey+.
- the controller also works.. Although the control is not intuitive. You need to press both trigger and grip to turn the earth. It should have been grip only I think. To select you need to direct your controller to the button and click "A".
