Hello everyone!

It has been far too long that I posted an update on here, so I just wanted to let you know that I have not in fact given up on writing fanfiction. Between Storms was the last project I completed and I was very happy with how it turned out.

That being said, a sequel to Blue Feather is currently being made.
This story will pick up several years after the ending to my original LIS fanfic and explore Max and Rachel's lives in new settings, new characters and all new challenges. The title of this sequel is Scarlet Flare, and will heavily explore the consequences of both past events and all new ones that I will show you when it is released as it shows us what our girls are up to in the year 2030.

When will Scarlet Flare release? The honest answer is "I don't know."
Currently, it's been worked on for about 22 months and I have made it through most of the story at this point. It is written with a completely different approach compared to its predecessor, where, instead of winging it and turbo-writing chapters constantly, I now went in with a plan and roadmap.

The truth my personal life since the middle of 2024 has been a complete disaster due to very personal reasons. Only those I consider close to me are in the know. I'm taking it one day at a time, working on the story when my mind is in the right frame and I have the time to do so.

Please stay tuned, it will be a while yet, but I sincerely hope you will agree that this one will be worth the wait.

So finally after like a freaking year (!!!) of waiting I can finally deliver to you the conclusion of Between Storms. The final three chapters (Rehearsal, Unsent Letters V and Epilogue) are up!

On that note, once again, my apologies for the eternal wait on this thing. I initially thought that I could write Between Storms within a year (yeah, we saw how that panned out) but instead it took me almost 3. I'm happy to say that I am glad to have made it though and hope you will enjoy it!

Hey guys,

First of all, I'm very sorry for my inactivity both on here in terms of writing as well as just being around in general. 2020 did a number on me and not in a good way. I have been working on the final stretch of Between Storms and I'd like to say that in my head the story is just about done, I just need to find the time and energy to write it down. Progress has been slow, sadly.

Problem being, I'm drained. Between lockdowns courtesy of everyone's favorite virus, work stress (overtime up the butt throughout December) and the troubles of my loved ones I've been left exhausted, both emotionally, physically and mentally.

I hope to change this, I really do and maybe at some point I will be able to get "back on my feet" as it were. I miss working on my stories and interacting with you guys, I really do.

I hope you all have a good transition into 2021. Here's hoping it's better than the last. That'd be hella cool with me.

Lack of chapters and why (break time)

Hey guys,

Sorry that there haven't been a whole lot of chapters lately. To be honest with you, I am finding myself both short on time and mood for writing these days.

I decided to take a break for a bit, for an (so far) undetermined amount of time. This does not mean that I'm done writing, it just means that I need a breather to come back to it later.

I hope you understand and can be patient with me. I love writing, but I gotta be in the mindset for it to work.

Germ Wars Episode I - The Flu Menace

Hey guys,

As you can tell by the title, I've gotten sick with the flu and I will be taking it easy for a while as I recover. I am afraid this will mean that any new chapters will have to wait as I'm not really in the condition to work as you can imagine, sorry about that.

I had such a good track record of not getting sick for over half a year... I guess my lucky streak ran out. Hope you all are doing better than me. Once I get back to writing, I will let you know here.
