A Quiet Note on the State of This Group

Greetings All,

At some point, I was apparently appointed to be the new standing owner of this group. Even the original creator left. So, I feel an obligation to say something, so here that is...

I believe Roman Citizens was created as a space for experienced players to enjoy games together…across genres, platforms, and eras. Over time, that original energy naturally dispersed, as interests shifted and engagement slowed.

This is not unusual, and it’s not a negative reflection on the people who joined.

Where Things Stand
At present, this group is inactive. There are no scheduled events, organized play sessions, or ongoing discussions. That may change in the future…or it may not.

For now, this space will remain as it is…quiet, intact, and unpressured.

What This Means
No action is required from members.
Nothing is being deleted.
Nothing is being demanded.

This is simply an acknowledgment of the group’s current state.

A Closing Thought
Gaming communities, like games themselves, often have a natural lifecycle. Some thrive through constant activity. Others serve their purpose quietly and then rest.

Either outcome is valid.

Some members may eventually find themselves drawn to more curated discussions elsewhere…but no action is expected or required.

Greatest Total War title since Rome Total War I and since Shogun 2 too. Well , no bugs, perfect performance, amazing gameplay, battles loads in seconds, turn time seconds too, great deep campaign map and at last GREAT DIPLOMACY, plus character managment close to Crusader Kings II but much better give me reason to love these series again. Thank You CA, you made it. Now give us Empire II and Warhammer III after that we will be ready for Medieval I I I . Great job. For real it's hard to take off from playing this game, no mods needed first in history. 10000/10
