Hey all! I am trying to set up Thursday or Friday game nights. Looking for input as to what game we should run a revival on, and who all is interested. I am thinking maybe TF2, for old times sake. But there are other options I am sure.

I finally got off my lazy ass and got the TF2 server issue fixed, in time for Halloween!
So yeah, it is back online. ip: 50.75.95.230 I will likely ned to tweak map rotation and such, and add any admins who aren't loaded who probably should be (some of you long time TFC members perhpas? :) )

Maybe tomorrow we will have a clan event!

About 14 of us showed up last Friday for the reunion. It was great to see some old faces and enjoy a game or two... Of course we had to play with the gravity settings and partook in floating heavy and soldier battles. What else would you expect?

Saturday saw the servers first MvM session, and it seemed to preform well. A few of you have been promoted to Mods or Admins to help promote the server / clan, and I hope to work with everyone in coming up with a schedule for the server map rotation. The map plugin we are using allows dynamic map cycling based on number of players in game, time of day and day of the week. We can use that to change the map cycles based on the day. I am still exerimenting with this system however.

Maps will of course be added, to bring back the old days. Bedrooms, desperado and balloon race! Convoy, Blackmesa, Strider and dz_sniper_r (a favorite sniper training map that we used to use often when it was slow) have already been added.

I am always looking for more suggestions to help make the server better.

I plan to have a reunion night sometime next weekend. Please stay tuned, and let all your old TF2 friends know, especially those who used to be in TFC or FLC, or who used to frequent the server.

The server is currently set at 24 slot, but I am hoping we can raise that, or add a second server. It will include some of our old favorite maps and game modes, and I plan to get the TFC admins set up on it soon enough. I am also looking for mods for the server who will be willing to try to get it filled up with pubs if no one else is around.

I am also working on rebuiling the TFC website, and such... so stay tuned!
