Hey guys, I've been sitting on this video for quite some time and have decided to release it. It's an introductory video for Hammer. In it, you will learn the basic tools and interface of the map editor.

This tutorial is more for the people just starting than the experienced mapper. Refer it to anyone you think may be interested in mapping.

If you are going to test a map you've been working on, let us admins know and we will schedule an event for your test date so that everyone in the Mapper's Hideout will receive a notice.

If you would like to test your map and have no means to publicly do so, let me know and I will see if I can get some server space open for testing.

Just a reminder to all mappers that our public chatroom is an excellent source of group brainstorming, Q/A's, and general help! If you're ever on the SDK, or even just fooling around, head in to the chatroom!

Try to utilize the group chat room when you're working maps so that we can all talk together.
