Torchlight (the first one) is free on GoG right now. If you like it so much that you want to buy the second one, there are a handful of people (me, picka, someone else) that you can likely play with.

Anyone interested in Metro 2033 that hasn't somehow grabbed it already? I THINK I have two keys laying around. I can't guarantee they work, but if you're interested, you can certainly try?

Valve games are playable on macs, and most indies at this point because of bundles liking that sort of thing.
