I'm really excited to announce the new Hats.TF is nearing completion with some serious improvements over the old scanner.

GOOD NEWS: Join the Hats.TF steam group (I'll invite you) to be notified when the new site goes live.

BAD NEWS: I do not want to renew the shared host that the current site is on since the entire site is moving to app engine, so the scanner is going to be offline until the new site launches.

While Hats.TF is going to be a pay service, everyone who has used the old scanner will be eligible for a generous free trial period.

tl:dr: Site is going down NOW, join the Hats.TF group to know when it launches.

As of today the site has over 1,500 sign-ups! Big thanks to everyone and keep sharing TF2me with your friends!

I started the scanner as a personal project but always had plans to expand, improve, and turn my ideas into something I can monetize.

The next generation in Team Fortress 2 utility is progressing each day. I've ditched PHP and the shared hosting environment for Python running on Google's App Engine.

Running on that infrastructure comes at a literal cost, and since I'm against ads, there's a 99% chance TF2me will become a premium access site B).

I haven't nailed down price points and there's still a lot of code that needs to be ported, optimized, and tested but stay tuned and feel free to leave inappropriate comments.

It just occured to me that I've spent little to no time updating the TF2me network of sites since last November. This may of occured to some of you as well.

In celebration of this knowledge, I'm proud to announce that I'm adopting my own website back that I orphaned all those months ago.

My job encourages me to experiment and further my development skills so I'm going to bring a lot more to the table. Unfortunately that means I won't spend any time trying to fix the existing site. Deal with it. B))

Things I will think about when coding the new site: reliability, synergy, optimization, Olivia Wilde, vertical integration, code ignighter, mobile, responsive design, snazzy domains, book of matches, Phillip's age, scorpions.
