My first six hours with the game were wonderful, I played with two friends and we had a blast exploring, finding new gear, doing quests, ect.

After that? Nothing.

Upon entering my second biome I found that all my stats had been reduced to nothing. My yellow legendary gear was now all gray gear. Your gear is all region locked (besides rare '+' gear you can find, which isn't locked for only adjacent zones) so crafting gear and improving it is completely pointless as you have to start over with each new biome. Movement equipment such as reigns to mount your pets, boats, ect are also region locked. You can be boating through an ocean and all the sudden your boat will disappear. You have to find all of these things in every zone in order to use them.

The progression and leveling in the game is based around finding artifacts in the final dungeons of these zones. They take hours to get, but the only thing they do is increase stats for mounted speed, glider speed, ect. so there is no actual combat progression. You literally have to start over in every zone.

Other than this the game is fun, if you're comfortable paying for about six hours of content then I'd say give it a try.

Beyond that, I can't recommend the game in its current state.

UPDATE: The developers have deleted facebook pages for the game, bug reporting threads and the developer blog/roadmap. It looks like Wollay is pulling another Wollay, don't expect any updates to this game and certainly DON'T BUY IT.

- Don't want to lose so I refuse to exit

- Ends up becoming a 8 hour standoff

Absolutely wonderful game, I highly reccomend this game if you played the first portal.

It is more storyline based than the first game, and answers many questions that weren't answered at the end of the first game. Wonderful voice acting as well as characteristics bring the game to life.

The single player campaign alone should take anywhere from 5-7 hours for the average user, and after that you have co-op missions and DLC you can play to keep you busy.

One thing I will say though, DO NOT PLAY THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE FIRST GAME. The experience isn't quite as amazing if you don't know some background about portal.
