Even though the story is pretty linear, I still played through the entire thing 3 times within the same week, and I loved every minute of it. Huge recommend.

As someone that's not into Soulsborne games at all besides finishing Dark Souls 1 (Basically just so I could say that I did it), and never played any of the other Armored Core games, I'm having a ton of fun with this game.

Besides getting my ass completely pulverized by Balteus... Seriously, ♥♥♥♥ that guy.

I've played over 100 hours in barely 3 weeks and I'm still having fun.

They really knocked it out of the park with this one 10/10 easiest recommend ever.

I always thought I hated 4X strategy games until I gave this game a another try. The only negative is that the base game on it's own isn't very fun, in fact I'd say it's a bit boring even, but seeing as though Paradox has this thing with releasing a ton of DLC for $20 a pop this might well be by design.

If it wasn't for that this game would be a 10/10 IMO, but even so I can still easily recommend you try this game.
