Battlefield 6 feels like the series finally found its way back home. The gunplay is tight and satisfying, the chaos of full-scale battles is back in a big way, and the whole game carries that old-school Battlefield vibe a lot of us grew up with.

One of the nicest surprises is the players-vs-bots mode. For us “boomer gamers,” it’s a great way to warm up, chill out, or just enjoy the game without sweating every match. It’s a simple addition, but it makes a huge difference.

Overall, BF6 is the closest the series has felt to its OG roots in years—and it’s honestly a blast.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a rare gem that rekindles the magic of classic RPGs while pushing the genre forward in bold, beautiful ways. From the moment I started playing, I was reminded of the golden era of Final Fantasy—back when deep storytelling, compelling characters, and breathtaking visuals came together to create something unforgettable.

The story is rich, emotional, and full of intrigue. It strikes that perfect balance between world-building and personal character arcs, pulling you deeper with each new chapter. The writing feels mature and meaningful, not just filler between battles. It's the kind of narrative that stays with you long after the credits roll.

Visually, the game is absolutely stunning. The art direction and graphical fidelity are top-tier—easily one of the best-looking RPGs I’ve played in years. Every location feels alive, and the attention to detail in both character models and environments is remarkable.

Gameplay-wise, Expedition 33 nails it. The combat system is fluid, strategic, and rewarding, with enough complexity to keep it engaging without becoming overwhelming. It’s modernized in all the right ways while still feeling like a true love letter to classic turn-based systems.

Honestly, this is what I wished Final Fantasy VII Remake had been like. It captures the heart and soul of what made those games so impactful while confidently carving its own identity. Clair Obscur doesn’t just imitate the classics—it stands proudly among them.

If you're a fan of story-rich RPGs and have been waiting for something that feels both nostalgic and fresh, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an absolute must-play.

Arma Reforger is hands down one of the best military sims out there, and it’s only getting better. If you’re looking for a game that delivers authentic, tactical gameplay with deep immersion, this is it.

The attention to detail in everything—from the ballistics to the communication systems—is unmatched. The devs at Bohemia Interactive have done an incredible job laying the foundation for what’s shaping up to be the most refined Arma experience yet. The combat feels tight, the movement is fluid, and the dynamic environments bring every firefight to life.

But what really sets Arma Reforger apart is its dedication to the community. The built-in modding tools are a game-changer, giving players the ability to create and share new content with ease. Whether you want to tweak mechanics, create custom maps, or overhaul gameplay entirely, the tools are there. The devs actively support this ecosystem, ensuring that the game continues to evolve through player-driven creativity.

If you love military simulation and want a platform that’s growing with its community, Arma Reforger is absolutely worth your time. It's not just a game; it's an evolving battlefield.

Delta Force Game Review: Battlefield’s Potential Realized

When it comes to military FPS games, few titles have sparked as much discussion recently as Delta Force. This game feels like the realization of what Battlefield could have been if it stayed true to its roots while evolving with modern gameplay expectations. With fluid gunplay, expansive maps, and strategic depth, Delta Force delivers an exhilarating large-scale warfare experience that’s both immersive and rewarding.

The gunplay is the real highlight, with every weapon feeling distinct and satisfying to use. From methodical sniping to intense close-quarters combat, the attention to detail in ballistics and weapon handling shines through. The sprawling maps encourage teamwork and strategic thinking, blending vehicular and infantry combat seamlessly. Delta Force takes the best elements of classic Battlefield and polishes them to a high sheen, making it a must-play for fans of the genre.

While Hell Let Loose may be seen as a more accessible (easy) version of Squad 44, it does have its unique strengths. The squad system and recon team in Hell Let Loose are particularly noteworthy, offering a different gameplay experience. The inclusion of the Arty concept is also a feature I appreciate.

The issue I have with Hell Let Loose is 1: ranking system; how remarkably stupid that I can work with armor but can't repair them till I rank; need a better gun for suppression or urban areas? NAH, you're a lowbie. You don't get that! 2: Comms, it's shocking how poopoo the coms and map marking are in this game; sometimes you get a good system going, but not all the time. Squad 44 is constantly updated, where Coms is non-stop, and map marking is so important. 3: Medic system, Squad 44 does a good job of allowing anyone "rez" anyone, but if you're not a medic, it takes a longer time, and you have damn near no "health," but it keeps the fight moving.

It's puzzling that Squad 44, with its ideal WW2 setting, is not as popular as it could be. However, I'm optimistic that with the right roadmap and updates, Squad 44 has the potential to attract more players and regain its former popularity.

If you want a chaotic but quick gameplay WW2 setting then Hell Let Loose maybe for you.

In the dozen or so hours I've played, I've experienced just one crash. The game runs quite well; while I may not be hitting 9 million frames per second, I’m getting enough that the game looks and feels good. I haven't encountered any major bugs, and overall, playing the game has been an absolute blast! Despite facing challenges, the developers created a game that stands out compared to many AAA titles that still manage to receive rave reviews (even when their ♥♥♥♥♥). If you're a fan of this genre or gameplay style, DO NOT skip this game. Plus, the mods that will come out in the future are going to be fantastic!
