The game is exactly what you'd expect, you click the cookie, you get a cookie, and trust me, it goes way up from there.

I do recommend playing this game if you haven't already, but keep in mind, the only benefit of buying the Steam version is for the achievements, you can play the game for free right on your browser from Orteil's site. The Steam version is also just the web version packaged in an Electron wrapper, so you can import your saves from the web version once you decide to buy the Steam version to flex your cookie-clicking prowess among your friends.

This game is a blast to play. The mechanics and the roguelike nature make this title very immersive and rewarding. The graphics are clearly meant to be a throwback, and will not allow you to scale the resolution to whatever silly size you want to set them, it DEMANDS that you appreciate every pixel on the screen at their proper scaling, and I definitely have obliged. This game is also very lightweight, so if you do pick this up, install it on your laptop to play on the go, trust me, you will want to play this game every chance you get.

Absolute classic right here, brought to us by Rockstar Games, developed by Remedy. Before you even get into the game you are immersed into the story as it is played out in graphic novel form during the cutscenes, and you will already feel the raw emotion pumped throughout the mind of Max Payne as you go on a hunt to find out who is behind the deadly drug plaguing New York. One of my most favorite story driven games in my collection, for it's unforgiving yet rising difficulty, and its powerful narrative. Pick this one up, and see how quick a New York minute really is.

Now this is a great driving simulator, this game has all the features you need to get fully immersed in the track. Mod support is drag-n-drop, and all of the servers you can hop on are plentiful depending on whether you want to race others, the clock, or drift around in bimmers. A proper steering wheel, gearbox, and pedals are recommended, if not required, but some can get by with a simple controller and still get good lap times on Nürburgring. Pick this one up, it's hella fun.

This is a good survival game for people with an empty wallet. Playing solo or with friends in a private server is always a blast, and the game has such a good amount of variety that you will have hours of enjoyment figuring out its features.

This right here is a classic, do not disrespect the legacy this game has left behind. It has single-handedly moulded the FPS genre into what it is today, and it still holds up it's own weight. Pick this one up, and once you do, find a way to get the amazing soundtrack produced by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails loaded on here, as the game wasn't reprogrammed to include it in the files, it still expects the retail CD to be inserted for them to play.

EDIT: Bethesda has blessed Quake fans on the 25th anniversary of this game's release by hiring talented individuals to remaster this game in a brand new, but familiar enough engine. Trent Reznor's soundtrack has finally been preserved in the remastered edition and you will no longer need to sideload it or burn it to disc. There are now new enhanced graphics to modernize the experience, and a whole other slew of new features I do not recall at the moment. This game has gotten the treatment it deserves, you definitely need to pick this one up if you never played a Quake game in your life.

This game is one of the many great driving simulators you can pick up on Steam for a relatively good price. The mechanics are easy enough to understand but take time to master, and manuveuring through many European countries makes this game something worth the effort it demands. The controls can be set to any configuration of your choosing, but it's much more immersive and entertaining using a proper steering wheel and pedal set. I'd recommend this game to anyone who has either enjoyed other driving simulators, specifically 18 wheels of steel, or someone who has not had the chance to experience one.
