I love this game and have been playing it for over 20 years since I was a kid. BUT...
Since 2016 the number of cheaters has been growing exponentially. It's 2025 and CS2 has become impossible to play normally because of cheaters. Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) doesn't work at all. Almost every competitive game Premier and MM in 8-9 out of 10 games there are cheaters, most often several cheaters or a full party that destroy everyone with wh, aim rage cheats and play HvH matches, a couple of times I had games where cheaters were in the party on my team, and it's simply impossible to kick them out if there are 2 or more of them.
The game has a lot of lags, glitches, you crash when you press shift-tab, so you have to hard reboot your PC. The movement system has changed radically, you see the enemy before he sees you, if he is static, also, you can easily die behind walls after jiggling, because the server registers shots this way.
There are many other problems that I haven't mentioned. We need to write as many similar and honest reviews as possible so that VALVE will see this and make their non-working anti-cheat like Faceit did.
