DED game?

After clocking over 2000hrs on the game, if you ask me whether I like it or not. I'd say 'yes' now and maybe 'no' tommorow.

Why?

Pros


-extremely competitive
-fun to play with friends
-at times the community is really helpful
-nice skins and a rich community market
-availability of a wide variety of community maps and servers
-a large player base
-some players are really friendly and respect your skills

Cons

-highly addictive
-highly competitive
-steep learning curve
-a very large number of hackers and derankers
-difficult to enjoy if you don't have a close group of friends playing cs
-soloquing is a nightmare
-cases (opening them is just a waste of time and money )
-a lot of toxic kids, and griefers
- lack of 128 tick servers

Despite all these problems or benefits, the competitive world of cs go keeps you on your toes and wanting to improve yourself. If you are playing alone, no matter how good you are you won't be satisfied with your rank and skills. At times this is frustrating but mostly that's what keeps you going.

Mind you valve might just stick in a very annoying update, but they are pretty quick to follow up with corrections and patches.

And kudos to "overwatch" valves own, community powered anti cheat system where reputed players, watch suspicious game demos to make sure players are not cheating

With Valorant coming in to the same genre CSGO lost a lot of its players, but still manages to stay ahead with the help of its passionate fanbase.
