AMAZING. Woke BS aside. This game is better then the first in almost every way. Played through 2 times and still finding new stuff I did not see the first go. I pre ordered gold edition and almost refunded. I am glad I did not. Dont get me wrong, the woke BS is BS. But it almost had zero effect on game. 1 time I had the option for woke BS. I did not take it, and I never seen it again.

Its very fun. A tad intimidating when you see vids But really it is a simple system to learn. It looks tougher then it really is. Graphics and sound are top notch I wish it had a quest system or something of the ilk. Driving is good, movement is good. The crafting system is huge, almost as good as 7D2D. I would give this game a solid 8 out of 10. Fact is after a few hundred hours it does get boring as U struggle to find things to do. If you like games like Dayz, Rust, 7D2D then I will guess you will like this.

This game is fun as hell. Some of the mechanics suck, but it is otherwise such a fun game that I am 100% willing to ignore that. My biggest regret is I did not get until recently. I got the gamer and its DLCs for 12 bux Canadian.

I am currently waiting for the cops to show up as I clearly stole this game. The fighting is hard and I suck at it. The story is above average, Graphics and sound are good. If they ever do another game I will pre order. Loyalty earned. I doubt I am half way through this game and I just cant put it down. Last night I played for about 18 hours. I give it a solid 9. would be 10 if combat controls were better.

I figured out what this game is, and I will let you know if you want to buy it. This game is for 2 types of players. First PVP players. Its Dayz Cherno. There is PVP a plenty if that is your stick. I wont get into this because if your one of these people (PVP players) Then you already know who you are and if you would like this.

The second type of player is those seeking a semi realistic survival game. Hunting fishing and scavenging. Trying to stay alive while dealing with the elements, cold, rain, zombies, food/water health etc. And for these people the game can be real fun. Vanillia or modded. Modded is way better IMO. If this is you, There is a lot to like.

The game itself is pretty stable. Maxed settings and capped at 60 FPS (on my side) and I run great and almost never crash. Sounds and visuals are good. It is very easy to get yourself in a bad spot if you are nto careful, but once you are established the game can get a tad easy. Mods help a lot as adding things to the game is critical. IMO the base game on its own is to boring.

If you find the right server (and I have found a few) you can really have a good time. But there is things that can not be understood by my simple mind. First and for most, after more then 5 years, The progress of the game should be way further ahead. At full price, the game is to much. The player base has been more then loyal to this brand and it is a tad frustrating that arma 2 dayz (modded) is still 10xs more fun then standalone. You started a game with a loyal fan base, a map you know works, and most everything handed to you in terms of structures, maps, and even the food/health system. All you had to do was listen to the community, see what mods people like best and try to copy or simulate that.

That all being said, I found a good home server, with friendly people and lots of mods. It is PVE and is heavy on the survival aspect of the game. But even with all that I have to deal with crap that is outside the control of the server owner. Like the fact that anytime ur dealing worth cars you are playing Russian Roulette. Will it be there when u log in? will it be in one piece? Cars are a fickle Pickle. You risk a lot just storing stuff. Why after all these years layers can not even get a simple bike to ride?

If you like true survival games like Long Dark. You may like this game. Stay away from, bells and whistles and stick to the realism part of survival and enjoy that aspect of the game. Other then PVP which I do not know enough about to say, Survival is fun and challenging if you are looking for that sort of game. If you want to play days, and have reliable cars and what not. Your best playing arma 2 or 3 dayz.
