Its quite barebone atm, but still very fun to play. The gunplay feels great, weapon variation is good enough, different descendants feel good to play and has a lot of build potential. It just needs more time to grow

*Season 1 edit: This opening season's content makes me extremely worried for the game's future. All the content added are overtuned to extremely high-end builds and completely invalidates any other Descendants that are not top tier and not able to deal absurd amounts of damage. All of them are forced to be done solo when the game is predominantly coop and the checkpoints are made to infuriate you. Puzzles are simple enough but you are swarmed by enemies that can down you in 1 sec if youre not moving, so pray that you can solve them at a glance. However, even if you can clear them in time, you need 1-2 cycles per puzzle, and if you fail its a complete reset of that section, and this applies to the boss as well.
So in the end what do you have? 4 puzzles in one instance, all swarmed by enemies and you have to be both tanky and deal absurd AoE and single target damage or else its a reset. Oh the rewards are also on a tight time btw, so good luck with that.

Stellar game

A game that shouldve ended a long time ago still gets updates from its creator, bringing more and more each time.
It is the best farming game in the market for several years running, without losing steam

A fantastic story-heavy game that masterfully uses its engine to tell a beautiful love story that it honestly feels more like a CYOA than a VN.
In just under 3 hours they've managed to make me fall in love with the character(s), and i cannot help but cheer them on while making it so darn difficult to go for the sadder endings. There are honestly parts of the game i just refuse to touch because i cant stand seeing them in pain, thats how well done the story is.

**Update: DLC is pretty good, but i feel that the difficulty has gone past "Challenging" and into hard just for the sake of being hard. It makes the main reason why i play these games, which is adventuring and discovering new vistas, increasingly tiring

An extremely well done game, from the general gameplay, the world building, the lore, the music to event the side characters in it.
It might not be as good as AC7, but it sure has hell has earned its place to be compared to AC7, and that is honestly an understatement still

Never have i played a game that does so well in nudging the player in the correct direction without ever handholding them
Never have i played a game that does so well in explaining a whole dead alien species without a single lore dump, but rather through conversations of the individuals and the artifacts that they left behind
Never have i played a game that let me hear the audible click has my head finally connects the dots together
Never have i played a game that made me feel the full weight of carrying the responsibility of the whole universe yet also the support of the companions that helped me here
And never will i be able to play this game fresh again.

10/10 game, thanks a lot for the ride
