Overall I'd say this is a solid remake, I do have a lot of issues with it however. For one a lot of the English dialogue is just completely different from what the JP text is. But there's also issues with the mediocre English voice work, the original was amateurish but the fact that most of the OGs returned as side characters makes it even worse. Lastly I would've preferred to have more of the original mechanics from FES return, specifically multiple weapon types for the protagonist and the fatigue mechanic. Regardless of all these things, it's a solid remake that any fan of the series should purchase.

One of the best horror games ever created with a great atmosphere and pacing.
