Super addictive game, if you've never heard of Dwarf Fortress which this game is HEAVILY influenced by, the best comparison i can give you is this: Imagine the sims, give the characters more autonomy, any of the things you wish to have happen are mostly like suggestions (the colonists will get to it when they can/want to), the game likes causing growth and disasters all the same in your colony, you will likely get attached to your colonies just to watch them burn, but it's always a good time. the world is tough, but are you as well? Don't worry, you can tone down the difficulty if things get too bad, but there's always something sweet in the devastation of a colony you fought to keep. because you get to do it all over again. Also, the modding community is amazing in this game, if you can think of it, there's probably someone that has made a mod for it, or is currently working on it. if you drop into this game, be prepared to sink hours upon hours into it without realizing it (my game time is actually nearly double this amount due to offline play) and come out with amazing stories to tell. (no seriously, the subreddit for this game is an amazing place to share stories)
