I’ve played Cookie Clicker for years.

The Steam version seems to use more resource than the browser one. My fan is used much more than in the browser. Moreover, it doesn’t always work on Linux.

I haven't gotten far into the game yet, but I've finished the first demo, and this is a game I really like ! The game itself is very nice, with some interesting mechanics and UX stuff. Another cool thing is that the download size required is small (180Mo currently). Which means you wont have to wait for days for the game to download. However, this doesn't mean there aren't enough features in the game, quite the contrary !

Sidenote for Linux : Gamemaker doesn't bundle all the libraries, so you might need to install libcurl-gnutls manually (which is quite easy). Anyway, the game runs fine on Proton too !

This is an awesome sandbox RPG, with hours to spend building, adventuring, fighting bosses etc. Whether you like to create or to fight monsters, this game has content to offer.

Great game, it feels well-balanced. It's a nice game overall, but as an early-access, it may even become better.

Fun to play with friends, but the game feels unpolished and there may not be a lot of active players (though there are enough to play).

There are several game modes, and this game sure has some potential, but the feeling it gives is that it went out of development too soon. If you happen to find this game on sale at less than a dollar, it may be well worth it though.

Awesome application. It lets you play any tabletop game you want, and with all the content from the Workshop you've got a lot of choice. For instance, I didn't expect to be able to play Duel Masters with friends, but all the content is in the Workshop so I could !

If you've got people to play with, it's a really cool application.

A great open-world firearms & cars game :

The story is fun, the characters all have their interesting personalities. There are a big diversity in the missions you can do.

As for the "open-world" part, you may grow tired of it, it's not as varied as I'd like.

It's a great polished cooperative game. If you've got people to play with it's really fun !
