story is thin and game play can get repetitive, but the action and pacing make up for it. Xenomorph breeds are varied enough to mix up the challenge and throw of the fire team and each class can make a difference, like the gunner being able to deal mass damage to targets or the demolisher wiping out a horde, or a doc healing the fireteam mid fight. nice amount of customization and the perk system actually makes you think about what perks you want.

Masterful design, challenge is a bit much at times but overcoming it can be so satisfying. Pushes you into playing it in a fun way, and you earn the ultimate power fantasy in the process.
