Keep in mind that as of writing this, I have only one decently-progressed save and it's the Open Range / Default map. I have cleared all the debris / expanded all the way, but I have not made any progression on the Flower Swamp map to be able to comment on it's design. I'm writing this with around 50 hours clocked in the game, both idle and actively playing. Now, onto my honest review!

Rusty's Retirement is a game that feels less like a game and more like a friend. You check on it every so often, nurture it, and then let it do its own thing for a while. I really enjoy not only the art style, but also the content of the characters and the well thought-out but simple systems of currency, automation, and progression. Unlocking new crops makes it to where even on my *almost* fully-automated farm, I still have to check in and plant the newly-unlocked crops so that I can continue to progress my crop catalogue.

I have more things to say, all positive of course, but it's late and I'm tired. Hopefully I'll finish this review soon!

Fantastic. Love this game because of it's simple controls, yet complex level design. 9.9/10 dentists would recommend.

Really fun. A lot of mechanics to take in, and plenty of options for all kinds of players. A lot to learn so you don't get bored :)

It's interesting to see how combinations work with each other. The management part of this is really cool too.

Loved it. Very casual with just the right amount of spice to keep it interesting. Good to practice time management with, because in early game, getting supplies is a long and time consuming task. Perfect for when your in the mood for a sit-down session with a nice cold glass of water with ice cubes and lemon in it. Got that chill and fun feel :)
