Bought this 10 years ago to play Sonic 3 and Knuckles (the only correct way to play it), and I just now rediscovered it. I had thought wow I can play some of the old multiplayer games like Streets of Rage 2 with my brother sometime for some good ol' nostalgia gaming. But Lo' And Behold the entire library is removed.

Let me quote Gabe Newell's (creator of Steam, HalfLife and Portal) opinion on piracy 15 years ago:
"We think there is a fundamental misconception about piracy. Piracy is almost always a service problem and not a pricing problem,"

I'm not saying I'm going to resort to piracy or even advising others to do so themselves, I'm just saying this crap right here is the very reason people resort to those measures.

Good cheap game but poorly optimized.

So I'm running 32gb of ram, Geforce 2060, i7 9660k, nvme, water cooled system and attempt to get to level 100 in endless, the game crashes at level 96. Two minutes till a 3rd hour.

Is the game worth buying: yes.
Is the game worth buying for more money: no.

Free and addictive, but no so addictive that it takes over your life.

Edit:
Since the latest update the game has become barely playable. The first day I played for 10 hours with no issues, now I can't go 2 minutes without "Something bad happened, try again later." forcing me to go to the main menu and re-enter.

Bug Fixed. Planned Reset Limit Is exciting. My personal preference would be Unlimited Resets until the team is named.

great game to play with your friends, children or siblings.

I have found a hotseat game that everyone I know wants to play. And that is worth more than any amount of cash. The only down side is it is only 4 players.

The very fun couch game I have been looking for to inflict on my siblings.

The only thing that can make this game better is more bosses, more monsters and the potential of online matches.

Survival Mode is not simply brutal it's impossible without buying stuff or getting super lucky in your first few lunchboxes

A solid and interseting take on the rouge-like RPGs.
