This game plays like a trip back in time to a golden age of PC RPGs. I shamefully admit i never played the originial Divinity, but I grew up with titles like Baulder's Gate and Fallout 1/2 and have always enjoyed the isometric style RPG. Divinity goes deep with skill choices, abilitys, spell books, character development, etc etc. There is SO MUCH to this game in terms of developing your team, and the ingame system for respeccing is the most liberal of any game i have played. If something isn't working right or you decide you picked the wrong skills it is easily remedied. The game is very open as well in terms of your decisions. Obviously the pathway of the main story must be followed, but the routes you take along that pathway are yours. Looks great, wonderful voicework, creative story and writing, clever well developed main and side characters. Just way, way, way fun.
