There is a lot of potential but like many past PVP MMO's, the game suffers from a wonky combat system and a dwindling player base.

I expect a learning curve on the combat in a PVP MMO but the combat in this game is very unorthodox. The combat mechanics also seem to be easily exploited by veteran players. It's still early access, so I'm hoping this will improve. So far I've only experienced the combat become more exploitable.

New players should expect to die a lot but you will rarely learn from your failure in combat since most of what you're supposed to do to win in battle is counter-intuitive. Most of the online tutorials will just leave you wondering what you're doing wrong. Eventually you'll either figure out the combat or stop playing the game. I'm still not sure which category I'm in.

Example - Staring at the ground while raising a shield in PvP will exploit a block bug that creates a meta where tanks on the battlefield are running in circles around each other staring at the ground. The combat tutorials online like the one you've posted, never seem to address the combat exploits in the game.

I'll change my review to a thumbs up for now but that's only because I've slowly learned to avoid exploits in combat through my own trial and error.
