Arrowhead Game Studios have created an amazing game and fostered a great community. My time in this game has been well spent and appreciate my friend gifting me this game.

This community has become an effective force against bad publisher practices and I'm glad to have participated helping to ensure our fellow divers' right to spread managed democracy. The devs at Arrowhead have done an amazing job listening to the community and stepping up to bat for us against an industry titan such as Sony.

I look forward to seeing what the future holds for this game and its community.

From Software has knocked it out of the park. Currently six hours into the game and I love it.

The Gameplay:
The first chapter is challenging but has never felt unfair. AC customization is very in-depth and introduces new parts and functions as you progress. Tutorials give you a good idea of the subject matter while the training modules allow you to put theory into practice. Mission replay gives you a reliable method to earn currency as well as give perfectionist a rating to grind. Bosses take several cues from other From Soft titles and apply them in a manner that both fits the pace of combat and feels satisfying to master. While I couldn't wrap my head around Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne, I find myself settling into the rhythm of this game quite easily. Being able to alter my AC after each death to better adapt to the situation ensures you have the chance to try new strategies without restarting a mission.

Performance:
My PC is nothing special, 16 gigs of RAM, an RX6650 and a Ryzen 5 2600; yet I can still run the game at 120fps on high settings. This game runs and it runs well. In a day and age where AAA titles are expected to perform poorly at launch ACVI defies expectation and lives up to From Soft's legacy of dedication and passion in their projects. I can say with confidence that I will be playing this game for hundreds of hours to come.

Closing:
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon lives up to From Software's legacy of solid combat, challenging encounters, satisfying mechanics and excellence in their work. I would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for fast combat and tough fights in a sci-fi setting.
