About Me
If you ask me, video games are indeed an art form on its own. It is the only known art medium that lets you experience firsthand works of literature heart to heart and word by word.

-Me (2017)

I have been using Linux back in the days where there's a handful of people that uses Slackware. Debian and by extension, Ubuntu's driver support was still abysmal (No proper GPU support, No internal audio card support). Back in those days, only Nvidia bothered to care on creating drivers for Linux, henceforth, why I'm still into Nvidia GPUs. Just like Nvidia, Intel too was the one of the first major companies that started to contribute driver code on Linux too.

Although, right now, AMD has aggressively spent their R&D towards open source support. Which is why AMD is not a bad choice now for Linux users. Heck, their GPU is integrated to the kernel, just like Intel. Except, that also applies to their EGPUs. I still am going to go for the Intel + Nvidia combo to end regardless :summer2019corgi:

Right now, my main gaming rig is a Linux machine. All I can say is that gaming in Linux is completely viable now. Steam offers enough native Linux games and is increasing; furthermore, Valve's Proton kicks ass! Wine is also maturing as well, allowing you to play more Windows games than ever before, case in point, I can play all games made by Blizzard thanks to Wine.

My specs:
Operating System: Ubuntu 22.04.5
Kernel version: Linux Kernel 6.8.0-47-generic
CPU: Intel core i7 12700 @ 3.6GHZ
Memory: 32GB of RAM - (G-Skill DDR4 Trident Z 16GB @ 3.6GHZ x2)
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060
Power Supply: Corsair CX650 (650w)
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME H610M-K D4
Display Server: Wayland

I play a variety of games, at the moment I play games on these genres.

➊ RPGs / MMORPGs / ARPG
➋ MOBA
➌ Real Time Strategy / MMORTS
➍ Fighting Games
➎ Card Games
➏ Board Games
➐ FPS / Shooters
➑ Racing / Driving
➒ Rhythm / Music

If you ever are interested on looking for a friend to play with (or want to add on Steam or Origin), you can hit me up with a PM and I might play the game that you are planning to play on :woodlehappy:.

My Top 10's on each game platform (Updated on May 8, 2025)
This isn't the best of best list, just the ones I have played and memorable to me

My favorite PC exclusive games
Does not have to be Windows only. As long as the platforms these games are officially available on are PC platforms such as Linux or MacOS. Also so difficult to maintain these list specially some of the items in these lists where transferred to multiplatform because they got console ports (which is not necessarily a bad thing).

➊ Dota 2
➋ Grimdawn
➌ Command and Conquer: Generals
➍ Starcraft 1 HD Remastered
➎ Warcraft 3 (Reforge is fine on campaigns but for multiplayer play, there is still PvPGN)
➏ Sim City 4
➐ Freedom Force (and it's expansion: Vs the 3rd reich)
➑ SWAT 4
➒ Empire of Earth 2
➓ Act of War (Direct Action & High Treason)

My favorite Console exclusive games
Doesn't have a PC or Mobile game port. Last console I bought was the PS3
