I first played this way back in 1998 (I was 18)

Everything old is new again

But, this is a near perfect game. Just flawless. PC controls are tight; UI design and workflow is fluid (I never feel like I'm stuck fumbling in the menu/items/map screens).

Also also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrifying. And just the right amount that makes you want to advance further.

Easily one of my favorite games of all time. It would be number one, if only for the lack of save slots. Holy hell I was doing a Nightmare run and somehow my game reverted back to the previous chapter and I pretty much needed a new xbox controller after that (not really; hyperbole yayyyy). I pretty much gave up at that point. But I'll give it another go round once the bitter taste has left.

• I met a dude to showed me how to do voice chat, went our sep ways
  
• ran into two dudes who gave me directions
  
• Ran into a dude from Holland and we ran together and hung out. But then he forgot to stay hydrated and dropped. I brought him back and then he dropped again. I got your stuff dude sorry I waited around

Despite the lack of any sort of guide (that's the point, right?) this game is creepy and fun. Also nobody has tried to rob/murder me yet, so either the stories of getting gang murdered are false, or I'm not playing the game right.

This game won't even run.

This game is probably my favorite FPS in terms of both Campaign and Multiplayer. Now, granted I played on console upon first release and it's taking me some getting used to the KBM setup, this game is still amazing.

Currently in my replay and my only complaint is one-click ADS. Am I missing the option to make it "hold" instead of "click once and stay in ADS?" Guess I just got used to my CS:GO playstyle.

P.S. For all those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the price; there are OTHER PLACES to get a steam key (completely legit) with all the DLC for under $30.00.

EDIT: Matchmaking much better, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ how many comp matches do I have to win to rank up?

Like night and day. Game looks AMAZING.

My only slight gripe(at the moment) is that my Corsair KB has a volume wheel that lets me adjust the sound when I have my headphones on, but for some reason with Skyrim, nothing happens when I move the wheel up and down. The sound level remains the same. But, when I exit the game, the sound level had actually moved; it's as if the game isn't registering the adjustment.

All in all, it's like playing a whole new game. I'm glad I haven't played it in years; makes the revisit all the more worthwhile.

85 hours and I still haven't "finished" the game. Worth it.
