It's a backpacking simulator with a great atmosphere that slowly becomes more and more involved and wild as the story progresses.

I was recommended this game, knew nothing about it, figured I'd crank through it in 10h or so. Ended up with 60h+ and I'm still not completely through the DLC. Definitely one of my all time favorites now. Attention to detail, map mechanics, and story are all fantastic.
