I like dis game

I don't play much beat em ups outside of Streets of Rage so I am no expert, but I have very much so enjoyed this game so far. I think its a good level of challenge with an achievable learning curve, and getting the hang of each character does take time.
I understand some people are looking for a more casual experience but I feel like the normal difficulty is very doable with some time.
Some people have mentioned wanting a save point for runs, though I feel like this is unnecessary. I think the game works best as a new run each time, especially with hard mode. There are only 5 stages, and you can clear the game relatively quickly.
I have seen mention of input issues which I have not personally experienced too much of, outside of the ability 2 not seeming to go off for some characters, or having enough a delay to be canceled after its charged perhaps. This is not a consistent issue, and I believe the charged abilities just comes down to learning the timing for each character.
I don't really have much in the way of complaints about the movement in this game, I feel like the characters are decently paced and I have not had any issues with the dodge function. This is especially so for items such as the Reaper Cloak that make dodging a viable way of fighting.
The equipment and consumable items are cool, finding different builds that work for each character has been interesting.
As always, the game itself looks beautiful, the music is wonderful, and it is full of the KayAnimate charm.

Again this is all just my opinion of the game, and I am not as well versed in this particular style of game. And there are a few areas that could probably benefit some tweaking, but all and all I say its well worth a solid effort.


PS I am an avid Hololive fan since 2019 so I am liable to be hella biased :D
