Sony backed down, Arrowhead supported the players. It is time to do our part once more and keep to the promise we made and change our review back to positive so long as Sony doesn't double back. Because the game is still ♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome

I love democracy

Well crafted but lacking depth or purpose, even for a sandbox.

The game has lots of potential. The biggest issue is that there is no clear goal. I've seen this asked online and the answer is always the same: "it's a sandbox, you make your own goal, like Minecraft in space". However that is not really the case. In a game like Minecraft, there is a clear goal, you become more powerful to take on bigger and badder monsters, along the way you build things and eventually that one goal has spiralled into many more. Space Engineers has not such goal. The best you can do is build bigger and cooler ships and bases, which may be enough for some, is not enough for me. There is no point in doing so, there isn't a larger threat and so there is no need to go any further once you have the basics completed. If you can play Minecraft on creative mode for hours on end then you will love this game but if you want challenge, you will need mods for that.

TL;DR: If this game had more depth and a reason to play other than building stuff without any threat or end goal it would be damn near perfect but until they add that, you will have to settle for mods or not buy it.
