Playing with the coughs when the game decides to spawn the blind man. 10/10 experience trying to hold coughs in. *small cough* *boom*

I love the game, I really do, but in its current state I do not recommend since it constantly crashes for some unknown reason. *(Reason found in update 2)

I am not that bothered with the optimization stuff but I am bothered by the crashes that randomly occur. Half my playtime was spent doing hunts over and over again since they either crash during 80% of the way or they crash as soon as the monster is slain (quest counted as complete until you pass the rewards screen and auto save happens).

I did try the various "fixes" but none of them worked for me. The last option is to reinstall my OS but seems a bit of a hassle in my opinion since only MonHun Wilds crashes a lot and not other games.

If you don't mind crashing about every 5 minutes then go for it, but I cannot recommend the game in its current state.

Update 1: Reinstalled my OS and MonHun Wilds still crashes, no other games do this. Definitely an app issue.

Update 2: Turns out my RAM is the issue? I did a memtest and saw RAM errors, so I ran additional tests and removed the faulty ram and now no crashes have occurred since then (I have a 4x8 GB). Weird since my PC was working fine despite the "faulty" RAM.

Great game, tried to do all story related challenges (knife only in the Chris segment kind of annoying at the end). I now wonder how the story would have gone if Chris told Ethan what was going on like his team said he should have done.

The additional mechanics are welcome, kind of takes time to get used to but still welcome.

You must like every hunter you play with in multiplayer even if they did somewhat poorly.

As a side note:

Playing with the HD mod along with the re4_tweaks mod is definitely a must, though it lags on some certain areas for me since I don't really have a gaming PC but don't let the put you off.

Controls could take awhile getting used to, but better played on a controller

There are checkpoints, so don't be afraid of dying and worrying about the last time you saved. Save as many as you want, not like you are going to spend an ink ribbon to save or anything.

Combine your treasures and don't just sell them off if you can't combine some of them. They can be used again in subsequent playthroughs. I got 4 blue eyes in my first playthrough only to sell them and find out later they are very rare to find.

Multiplayer is so much fun, but there are some things I can say about this.

It takes so long to load the first time launching the game, just happens the first time you launch and it loads faster the next time you launch.

You need a really good computer for this game, I don't really have a high spec PC but I still enjoyed the game despite playing in 15-46 fps in low settings.

I would recommend, but really need good PC.

If you are fine playing with bad ping sometimes due to server issues, then go ahead and play Apex.

There are some bugs like where the game suddenly freezes and after awhile brings you to the main menu with the error saying the anti cheat stopped working or something similar. Or sometimes the UI doesn't load in champion select screen (maybe its just my computer, I do not know.)

Don't get me wrong the game is neat and all but just like some reviews say but the connections to server are no good sometimes. You get good ping good for you, you get bad ping too bad since you have to live with it until the end of that match. Apex just needs better servers, that's all.

The game itself is really good, but sadly players are hard to find and it is no fun playing solo.

Fun at first, but soon gets boring (I play solo, maybe that's why.)
