As a Fan of the series, I'm unbelievably happy to see a sequel that holds up my personal expectations. gameplay feels amazing and brings back the amazing feeling of both dread and awe I had when i first played STALKER Call of Pripyat, back in 2015. It managed to enhance the immersiveness of the previous games, while keeping the same gritty atmosphere that makes STALKER STALKER. The world is entirely hand crafted, and it shows, even small corners of random abandoned houses are carefully filled with objects and props that fits each corner, bringing the feeling that someone lives, or used to live there.
Update: after 80+ hours, I still haven't finished the main storyline, so if you play like me excploring every nook and cranny of the map, you have hundreds of hours of enjoyment.

That being said, the game does have some critical issues, mainly related to performance, I get massive fps drops on populated areas and some stutters here and there, I also experienced some visual bugs, such as cigarettes flying over a character's head while they're smoking, and A-life random enconters spawning way too frequently and too near the player, breaking a little bit of immersion and as of now, the enemies AI is pretty dumb, but as far as I have played, I encontered no game breaking bugs.
In conclusion, if you are a fan of the series, his game is totally worth it if you can ignore it's flaws, most of which, are probably going to be addressed in future updates, if thats a problem for you, you might want to wait a little bit before buying the game.
For me, this game feels like a passion project for the developers, despite it's flaws, you can notice just how much care and hard work they put into this game over the span of over 5 years it has been in development, with the last 2 years working under enemy artillery in this devastating pointless war that has claimed so many lives, including former GSC devs.

Overall great game, I had a lot of hours of fun already, has a lot of potential, but still needs a lot of cooking before a full release, for now, the combat is way too janky, archers are useless, some visual bugs here and there and I experienced a game breaking bug where my villagers lost their home in a raid but refused to move back when it was rebuilt, generating insatisfaction from homelessness and cold thus making it impossible to attract new families

Hands down probably one of the best FPS games I've ever played, if not the best, from the gameplay mechanics to the topics it addresses throughout the game, certainly not a game for everyone, but perfect to someone like me.
The game mechanics are overall simple, but fantastic, I never thought it would be so fun to have such realistic control of a firearm in a videogame format, having to clear malfunctions, and saving ammo as needed as opposed to machine gunning bullet sponges or heroes hopping around the map.
The enemies in this game are kind of dumb and predictable by design, but once you start to get too comfortable, you make mistakes, and have to start each rank over again, it can be frustrating, but for me it's really a patience and focus exercise, almost relaxing really. That being said, the game is kinda short, but has some replay value on itself, and basically unlimited replay value if you like shooting range challenges that are available on the Compound along with interesting exploration content and easter eggs.
As a firearm enthusiast, the game really makes you think if a gun would be all you need to defend yourself from a Threat. It drives home how much more important is mental stability, rational thinking and presence of mind in such scenarios, having neither of these, will render a firearm useless, or even dangerous to yourself.
The game also addresses topics that not many games are brave enough to address, such as personal responsability, suicide and the many different reasons that lead people thinking that is the only way out, while also being respectful and showing that there is always hope.

The game is still in early development but is already quite fun, full of possibilities and a lot of potential for further development, being developed by a single person makes me respect this game even more, as the graphics and gameplay are already stunning for an indie game.
Although the game does have some downsides, as it's still in early access, such as the physics, sometimes my tank tracks clip through the ground, the suspension system is very unpredictable and it's very hard to make a heavy tank thats actually usable, so it has a lot to be improved yet.
Even though the game does not have a tutorial as of now, the tank designer is quite intuitive and the learning curve is very fast.
In conclusion, this game is definitely worth what it costs as of now and I recommend it, I see a lot of potential for the final product and I'll definitely support this project.

As of now, it's an awesome and super fun game, featuring groundbreaking (literally) gameplay and physics that I could only dream of before this game. like any other early access, it does have some bugs here and there, but nothing that made my experience bad or unplayable.
The devs seem passionate about this project, which is awesome. I'm looking forward to see how this game you develop overtime!

Certainly, one of the best games ever made, and the best Fallout since Bethesda bought the franchise, good work Obsidian
