This game had literally infinite potential and was subsequently squandered by a design team that doesnt believe in design documents, a lead designer that has no spine and wants to make as homogenized an experience as possible, an utterly boring experience that does nothing new and pushes no boundaries.

in a massive game with a focus on exploration, there is ♥♥♥♥ all to explore. every planet is already littered with settlers and bandits that all behave the same and provide nothing interesting.

as of right now the game is not very well balanced. dont get me wrong, I love the premise and being able to defend my hometown from Zombies is super cool. but the novelty quickly wears off when you realize that surviving past day 30 or so is next to impossible. between buildings held together by hopes and dreams, a transmission that pauses your game every. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. day. and hordes that are frankly too fast and unfair even at the easiest difficulty.

sadly, right now, it just isnt very good.

I really love the elder scrolls setting, with all of my heart, however I wish they would stop making expansions for this game and make a new damn game already.

As someone who isn't usually a fan of the turn based shooter, this game offers an enjoyable playstyle with base building and interesting character development. The downside is that once you set up a group of badasses at high level, once one dies you get crippled by having to throw weaklings into the foray. Overall a fun strategy game with lots to offer.

A Disturbingly designed game where absolutly every decision you make often bears grim consequences, the resources are finite and the combat unforgiving.

only play this game if you want to see just how badly you would be at survivng in a real apocalypse, where the world around you is collapsing and all you can do is light up a few cigarettes, grab your friends and hold on for dear life.
