Game went from a 10/10 that rapidly devolves into a 2/10 as the game moves to embody hyper-mobile, immune-prone encounters that encourage unimaginative playstyles. Unfortunately leaving it less enjoyable than previous FROM titles.

Solid title. Beyond early performance and network issues, I've run into very little issues, and encountered 0 bugs. The framework to build on is here, and I hope the devs take advantage of that.

Baldur's Late is single-handedly fighting the audacity of 2020 on its own.

I don't do reviews often, but I see a lot of hate for this game that I don't see is warranted. The game is in early access, maybe a little too early. Ultimately the game as it stands plays like a very long demo. There's just enough of everything to hook you in, but it caps out pretty quick.

Character skill trees are small, and I hope that character development and advancement is something the developers expand on as a whole. There is clearly more to the story and content than is currently available, and I look forward to checking that out when it's available. There's little room for complaint beyond that. I ran into some minor bugs, but experienced no disconnects or downtime, and minimal latency issues.

Unfortunately content is currently very limited in its early stages, and if you're looking for a game you'll be able to dump countless hours into, this one isn't quite there yet. If you're a fan and you just want to see what the devs are up to, it's worth the buy. I've given this a positive review because it currently has a good direction and this review will be pending change.
