Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is still in it's early stages, but is a solid game all around in the way it's mechanics and gameplay feel and perform. Like most games it is still having teething problems with bugs and errors yet to be weaned out of the equation, and some balancing still needed.

The gameplay can be a bit rough at first, but once you are accustomed to the game it's quite enjoyable. The campaign is well worth taking time to play through, and although multiplayer is still rather buggy when it works it works well.

Overall I would say, the game is new and still needs work in the stability department, as many games do in such situations. But technical issues aside, the gameplay is fun and intuitive and the campaign interesting for the player.

If you are a Warhammer 40,000 fan, or even better a Battlefleet Gothic fan, I think you'll get your fix out of this game.

If you're a hardcore RTS gamer who wants to test yourself on another playing field, I would say the game isn't ready for you just yet. Wait a little for the bugs to be cleared away and the matchmaker to improve.

And if you just want something fun to do and are willing to put up with bugs and errors, I recommend giving the game a fair go.

Whatever you choose, good luck Admirals.
