I really want to love this game. I did at first, but it became increasingly more boring. Running the same few maps over and over gets really tiresome. The story elements in it were extremely sparse. Maybe I'm being unfair comparing it to Hollow Knight, but those kind of stories are what keeps me interested long enough to explore the majority of a game's content. If you like grinding for the sake of grinding though, this may be your game.

While the game itself does a wonderful job of immersing you in a fantastic story, the cost is too high for a game that only lasts two hours. Most people will say, "But you'd pay that for a movie!" That's because there are few alternatives. There are plenty of other great games to choose from with a better cost to playtime ratio.

It's pretty fun. It's nothing revolutionary, but it's got a solid story and gameplay. Worth getting if it's on sale.
