I love this game but does that mean it's good?

Well let's first start off by saying that if you like history or is a historian you would probrably like this game
But what is the game

The base game is a World War 2 strategy game where you can play as a nation and do basically whatever the f*ck you want to do nearly. Want to make war with H*tler and let your country be communist---yes. Want to build a big army and make allies with other countries---absolutely. Can I make a civilwar--Yes.

And the good thing about the game is that it makes you more interested in history and politics

There is a big community of people modding and playing this game. There is mods that made the game in World war 1 and in the present. But if you want to play the game you should play with mods. (Recommended mods: Road to 56: Millennium dawn) Now I am not saying the base game is bad buuutttt actually yes it kinda is.

Road to 56 makes you immersed into the game whereas the base game is pretty much limited for minor nations in the world.

Okay so Like, I am from Denmark and the basegame you can't really do anything with Denmark but if you have Road to 56 you can


So the game is fine and good and you need dsome mods what else you might think?
Well The online can get laggy so as the base game but you can still play it on a potato pc since it dosen't really affect your gameplay skills but your experience more. The online is fine but there isn't always room for you to play since it's different mods pleople are playing with.

It's a good game still And I will recommend it. But here is where you need to listen

It's a hard game and for beginners it can take more hours or even days to learn! When I wrote this I had 430 hours on the game and I stil learn a new feature every once in a while. So it's hard to learn and medium to master. But trust me if you like these kind of games it's the time worth and you will like the game

Now I am gonna judge this game by the usage of the base game. Mods do make better visuals and music so keep that in mind it would go higher up this rating. But it's still base game

It's pretty historical accurate but the base game does leave out some things like the war with Finland and Iraq joining the AXIS.

But is it realistic?
Yes I would say so. But I am no historian even though history is my hobby.
There are some thigns like diplomacy that can be a bit unrealistic but that's why you have Road to 56 that makes it a bit more realistic. (Except the italian focus tree)

Altough it can be a virus this game. Once you get addicted you always get addicted. You can't really stop again. And you will change your mindset so that you always will be interested in other countries. You will always come back for more with this game

Normally I am pretty hard to get impressed but it's not about the surprise of how good this is. This game is about the journy and it really lives up to that expectation

Sad to say it's not what I expected:
And it's not really bad but...

The gameplay is overall good and it has some good gamemodes and a lovely story of what I have played so far.
Sometimes it feels like the original Puyo Puyo™ Tetris® instead of Puyo Puyo™ Tetris® 2.

If you have the original Puyo Puyo™ Tetris® Don't buy it

They didn't necessarily need to make a new game/sequel but instead a DLC would be better.

BUT!!!

I buyed this game so I could play online and Online is dead
There is nobody online and you have to wait 40min to get into a battle
I would recommend this game if the online feature were better but it simply is not!

I liked the system of Rank and also the system of Unranked in Online so there was something for all.
There is as much puyo puyo as there is tetris and I love that! But it's easier to win battles choosing tetris which can be unfair so said. And all the good players stick to Tetris. Tetris is too overpowerfull and can't really be nerfed to the level as puyo puyo since they are two different gamemodes.

If you want to be better at Tetris and puyo puyo you should still buy this game, but not on steam. The online is so much better on the switch version

It's a great game and I love it but sadly the broken online made me not recommend it.
