Early Access Review
I have played Thousands of hours in previous phases so i got this for free when they brought it to steam.

IT IS NOT PAY TO WIN AT ALL!!!

I love this game, it's better than most MMO's out there already and its in ALPHA. All these other reviews are just hatememeing or dont know what they're talking about or can't read. its an ALPHA, its EARLY ACCESS, but not the normal early access, this is ACTUAL early access, the game is not in a finished state, there are bugs, there are placeholders.

Graphics are better than most MMO's but its unoptemised, what do you expect from an alpha?

Sound is phenominal, even the background ambience, if you pay attention you can walk close to a tree and hear the birds singing in the tree next to you, its incredibly immersive.

Combat is very intuitive and customisation of keybinds is extremely accessable! the only keys i've found i can't rebind are left and rightclick. you can style your UI and keybinds to change, even swap your camera to have a target reticule, action combat style!

Devs are attentive and pay attention to the community, they have dedicated teams to read through the players bug reports and suggestions on the forums, they love MMO's and want to make a MMO for life, not just a Flavour of the month game that'll be dead in a month.

Regarding Missinformation: It's not a scam, its a HUGE success, but negative videos showing small sections of a DESERT and complaining that there's nothing there (once again, IN A DESERT) and claiming that there is nothing ingame and no contend is just ludicrous.

In Conclusion, it's a brilliant game, VERY ambitious and whilst being delayed, it's achieving every promise they have made!

10/10

As you can see i do recommend this game, now to start with the negatives.

- Only 3 areas
- Horribly balanced
- Artificially inflated achievements
- Story?
- Randomly getting new characters with no backstory
- Occasional bugs.

that's it. it does everything else good. I got 91/91 achievements in 24 hours. all but 3 achievements were done in 6-8 hours, the last 3 were essentially roll a 1 in 50 odds dice, 5-6 times per 'round' to get all 50 different items. that's it. that's most of my time spend in this. I enjoyed my time playing this.

It's Valheim mixed with Palworld with a easy to understand interface for programming ingame AI.

After 29 hours of gameplay i can say that i had mild fun in Time to Morp, but it very quickly lost its charm and became a "lets 100% this and get it over with to more on to the next game", which isn't a bad thing the last 6-8 hours of gameplay is simply waiting for days to turnover to get more quests to actually finish the game, rather boring.

My only issues really are as follows:

1. Achievements being bugged, having MAX friendship with every. single. morp. and still not getting the achievement? harvesting 41 Ripe flowers only to have them stop counting everything thereafter, even in a new world, stuck at 41.

2. We need a way to speed up the day/night cycle, this waiting was very VERY boring. there's beds in the game, why not let us use them?

3. Ripe flowers, despite being used for several things lategame, mainly recipes for crew quests, are not renewable. scanning for them is a lategame research and they are crucial for the gameplay, for this to be limited seems like a MASSIVE oversight by devs, yes i know the game ends with a "to be continued" but this needs to be on the top of the to-do list.

4. Co-op is done poorly. this isn't me being sore, this is me saying that in a 2 player coop session, having only the host be able to talk to crew members to progress the story, Player 2 couldn't hand in quests to the Crew at all. it became a long to-do list for the host and Player 2 just had to afk if they weren't building enclosures or doing morp quests. this in addition to being forced to have all players nearby to progress crew quests made it a chore instead of a fun questing system.

I look forward to future patches and updates, but if when updates come out we have to restart worlds, it simply wont be worth picking up again.
