i have schizophrenia, i cant finish ALL endings of the game. i have video game related hallucinations, and just from the general almostly comically edgy content i just can't keep doing this. im seeing severed heads in my oven with the skin burning off. the reason i even state this is because funger is just so oppressive in its atmosphere. The content of the game pulls no punches in how explict it is. It almost feels like a creepypasta at times. While I think that is definitely an appeal, i would have liked a bit more subtlety. it kinda feels like your playing fortnite on salvia or something. looting is fun, the rougelite elements are done well, you decisions in each run genuinely matter in a race against time. the coin flips at times are a bit unsufferable, but I do really like the concept of having to save them for important decisions. Even saving is a decision, with a coin flip, and unless you get lucky with books you'll be wasting time and resources going to these beds to save. Experimentation is rewarded and punished equally which really forces you to learn fungers mechanics fast. It's buggy but overall a good game with an understandable appeal. I think if you like hard games this is great!

Because of Destiny 2 I have lost my wife, my kids, my job, and, above all else, my happiness. I can't even remember waking up anymore as I spend all hours of my day on Destiny in a mindless limbo. I rarely leave the house, but when I do I boot the game on my Stadia (That I bought specifically for Destiny). When I launch the game I don't find the will to play it anymore. I watch my ship rock lazily in orbit. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And, despite my hatred for this game, the rest of my life seems dull when Destiny is not booted. The tool of language has broken in my 'real life'. My mom frequently tries to check on me (as I am soon being evicted), but her words are slurred in a certain Charlie Brown Adult style of speech. It's unfair; I want my life back.

So I ask,

What is the meaning of our pointless existence? What cruel god put us on this rock? And to that same god, why can't I reset my life as easily as my Warlock, my Hunter, or my Titan?
